2020-21 Panini Impeccable Basketball Preview

Only the cream of the crop among NBA teams are left in the playoffs and some of the season’s high-end basketball products will start to arrive with 2020-21 Panini Impeccable Basketball dropping in hobby shops this week.

Impeccable is all about the fancy, with gold and silver bars, on-card autographs and shiny-looking accents.  A full checklist is at the bottom of this story.

2020-21 Impeccable Basketball Configuration

Impeccable boxes carry only nine cards, but five will be autographed, with one silver, gold or unsigned Stainless Steel Stars card along with three base or base parallel cards.  Each case will hold three boxes.

There’s a First Off The Line version that includes a silver NBA logo parallel numbered to 15.

Autographs, Etc.

Elegance Rookie Jersey Autographs are back, including the 1/1 Platinum parallel versions.  All autos are on-card. Rookie Signatures carry autos on an artsy, grayish box.  Stars autographs focus on veteran players.

More autograph content comes in the form of themed autograph insert sets that can be numbered to the featured player’s jersey number, draft pick spot, Hall of Fame induction year or a specific statistic.

Stainless Stars returns to Impeccable with a hard-signed version and a non-autographed version. There are parallels here, too, numbered as low as 1/1.

Look for cards made with actual silver and gold along with the Stainless Stars set, including a variety of parallels numbered to as low as 1.  There will be signed and unsigned versions.

Canvas Creations offers a ColorBurst look, with both autographed and unautographed versions.

Hobby boxes of 2020-21 Impeccable are online for $1,500-$1,600 with FOTL boxes running a bit higher.
