2021 Topps Stadium Club Chrome Preview

Back for a second season on the company’s baseball card release lineup, 2021 Topps Stadium Club Chrome will arrive just after the end of the season.  It’s a shiny version of the product that emphasizes unique photos rather than hit content.

TSC Chrome ’21 has a release date of November 10, a little less than six months after the release of the regular Stadium Club set.

2021 Topps Stadium Club Chrome Configuration and Base Set

Just as it did last year, Topps will pack an extra 100 cards into the Chrome base set, with a total of 400 to collect in all.  Veterans, rookies and former greats will be part of the checklist.

Insert Sets

There will be multiple new insert sets this year, but Beam Team is back.  An ode to the original 1990s insert that got its start in Topps Basketball, Beam Team cards will be found in every fourth pack.

Topps will pay homage to the inaugural Stadium Club set with an insert set featuring players on cards molded after the 1991 design.

Also new this year:  Virtual Reality which explores “what could have been in 2020,” according to Topps. They’ll be found in every fourth pack while Crystal Ball, which “gazes into the futures of some of the young stars of baseball” will be one per box.

Parallels of the above Inserts:
• Wave Refractor Parallel: 1:112 packs (2 per case)

• Orange Refractor Parallel: sequentially numbered to 25

• Orange Refractor Parallel: sequentially numbered to 25
• Red Refractor Parallel: sequentially numbered to 5
